How many parents today still think the topics of sex and relationships are taboo?

This is a story about a girl who grew up with a mother who didn’t think that any conversation was off limits and when feeling restricted by the choices she, her children and the consumers at large had, she vociferously sought to change that with a revolutionary new product.

As a third generation portrait artist, Daisy-Ann Cumming does not feel that her creative instincts are limited just to the easel (although you can see her work here-link to KDU Diary). Instead, everything in her life has an art to it - from running her many businesses, to setting the table for dinner, to doing the laundry. While some may class this pursuit for perfection as obsessive, to her it is about striving for excellence and a work of art.

My mother had always ensured that our grooming was immaculate, not for vanity but to radiate self respect and confidence. She would say, “You brush your teeth with toothpaste and apply deodorant to underarms because you want to feel, taste and smell good so it only makes sense to take the same pride on your whole body”.

Frustrated with the absence of personal hygiene products on the market to cleanse and moisturise the genital region, she set out 45 years ago to develop such a product. Initially using a homemade blend of toothpaste, mouthwash and moisturising cream, she experimented with countless combinations to create the perfect formula that would eliminate odour, refresh and moisturise. This was the product that we grew up with which was a part of our daily routine. It made me think, “Why isn’t everyone using this product?”

Today I bring to you Kiss Down Under™ reformulated to be consumer friendly and made with organic ingredients so that it is all natural for your most natural parts. Kiss Down Under™ is a hygiene staple that has been used for years and stood the test of time.

Personal grooming is from the inside out.

My mother believes that there are five elements to the art of fulfillment: Believing in something greater than yourself, nourishing your mind, having emotional intelligence, working with passion and having a great sex life! She is a woman that stands proud of her achievements, triumphs and tribulations but still has the laughter and cheekiness of a teenager excited about her first crush.

Would you kiss someone who didn’t brush their teeth?

I remember my mother saying . . . “You brush your teeth with toothpaste and apply deodorant to underarms because you want to feel, taste and smell good so it only makes sense to take the same pride on your whole body”.

My art to fulfillment

Whether it makes you laugh or cry, embrace life’s experiences with gratitude. I thank my mother for being an amazing and inspirational role model. She is for the most part my biggest headache :-), but she is still my mother, my counsellor, my friend ... and she has taught me well.
